Strauss Center for Conservation
Book Design
Harvard University’s Fogg Museum was the first American museum with a scientifically based conservation and research department. This book was designed to document the first fifty years of the Fogg. The restoration process was used as a design inspiration for the book itself. Different colors of paper and stocks were used to denote the unique sections of the book and also represent a painting's cross-sections.
